Region 7 Director: Caitlin Grabill
Even with a middle school science teacher for a father Caitlin never thought she’d enter the classroom as a teacher. Now she is in her 5th year teaching science and agriculture at Quest High School, the alternative high school for the county she grew up in. Being the only science teacher in her building has given her lots of opportunities to grow and share her passions with the 10th-12th graders she teaches.
Outside of teaching Caitlin is also Fremont Public School’s high school theater director and over the summer works for YMCA’s McGaw Camp Echo as their horseback riding instructor and barn manager and has the opportunity to have students work with her.
Any free time she has left is spent with her family who live all over the world, podcasting, and with her 3 dogs, 9-year old australian shepherd Bear, 4-year old husky Ruby, and 4-year old lab Maya.
