Making Sense of NGSS K-2 ~ Webinar

Tap into a young child's natural sense of wonder and use science to fuel learning! Please join us for the third in a series of free webinars for Maine science educators, “Making Sense of the NGSS.” It is time to get specific! This one is for teachers of grades K-2. One lucky attendee will win a copy of "Perfect Pairs" by Nancy Chesley and Melissa Stewart. (You must be logged on for the live event on January 13th to win.) We’ll examine the importance of science in grades K-2 and showcase lessons and resources for the early primary grades, including PBS LearningMedia™ digital resources that support K-2 instruction. This event is a collaboration between Maine Public Broadcasting Network, PBS LearningMedia, Maine Science Teachers Association and WGBH Education. We'll send out the archived recording link to all who register. Future webinars will focus on supporting instruction in other grade bands.
